Biography

Professor Stephanie Keeley has been an instructor in Midway University’s equine program since 2014. Her graduate thesis work explored methods to help equine programs reduce their carbon footprint and utilize these techniques to create fiscally sound operating budgets.

At Midway University Professor Keeley teaches the first-year student courses as well as the management classes. These courses include: Intro to Equine Farm Operations I & II, Intro to Equine Industry, Farm Operations Management I & II, Equine Healthcare Management, Equine Facility and Design and Equine Management. In addition, she is a member of the National Association of Equine Affiliated Academics. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Horse Council and on the board of the Friends of the Lexington Mounted Police.
