Dr. Neha Anand serves as Chair of the Teacher Education Department and Assistant Professor at Midway University. She holds a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Science Education from the University of Houston. Her academic journey also includes a Master of Education in Administration from Lamar University and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from ICFAI University.
With extensive experience in higher education, Dr. Anand has a strong background in curriculum development, teacher education, and accreditation processes. Her research interests include multicultural education, STEM education, and culturally responsive teaching practices. Through innovative pedagogy and a focus on culturally responsive teaching practices, Dr. Anand strives to bridge gaps in education and promote equity for all learners.
