Biography

Dr. Gill began his tenure as Dean of the School of Business, Equine and Sport Management during the summer of 2018. In this role, he oversees undergraduate, adult degree completion and graduate programs that have enrollments of more than 650 students. In addition to overseeing academic programs, this role comes with oversight of the 200-acre working horse farm and herd of 36 horses.

Prior to joining Midway, Dr. Gill served on the business faculty at Asbury University and the University of Louisville. Outside of academia, he has worked as the Director of Operations for United States Master Swimming and was the swim course director for Ironman Louisville for 12 years.

Mark and his wife Debbie reside in Versailles. They have three children and two grandchildren along with two dogs, one cat and five chickens.
