Dr. Columbia has been in practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2009, and is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has been a Registered Nurse working in the healthcare field in a variety of settings since 2003, including ER, Hospice and pain management. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University, and both her BSN and MSN from the University of Kentucky.
She previously worked for the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in their onsite employee health clinic for nine years, as well as the University of Kentucky, and as an occupational/employee health Nurse Practitioner for Florida Tile, Kindred Healthcare and most recently Transylvania University. She also occasionally works at The Ready Care Clinic in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. She is a member of the Kentucky Association of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse-Midwives.
