Biography

Hemi Fordham is from Jefferson City, Tennessee and received her undergraduate degree from Midway in Equine Management and Business Administration. After graduation, Hemi worked in the equine industry as a vet nurse and, after a few years, decided she was ready for a change. Hemi was a part of the Alumni Board Association and was offered an opportunity to work in the Advancement Department at Midway in the summer of 2022.

In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, fishing, and traveling. From hiking a mountain trail to scuba diving in Australia, Hemi just enjoys being outdoors. She says, "Being able to smell the fresh air and disconnect from modern technology is the most peaceful thing there is."

Favorite Thing About Midway
There are so many things I love about Midway it is hard to choose just one. From the first time I stepped onto this campus, it instantly felt like home. The campus itself is so beautiful and welcoming.
